Eight-Day Lantern Clock Jaeger-LeCoultre, made circa 1960. Fine and very rare eight-day going brass and lucite desk clock resembling a lantern. Brass case with four Lucite panels, the two on the side with geometric pattern. Oval brass outer ring with brass indexes. Brass fancy hands. Skeletonized, train running in straight line in small two bar frame, straight line lever escapement, monometallic balance with self-compensating Breguet balance spring mounted on a lucite plate resembling a candle flame. Case signed and numbered. Dim. 11 x 14.5 x 4.5 cm. Property of Various Owners
