Specially made in 280 examples for the “Eidgenössisches Schützenfest, Bern, 1910” – or Federal Shooting Exhibition in Bern, Switzerland, 1910. Sold on August 5, 1910. Very fine and important, 18K pink and yellow gold keyless pocket chronometer “Première Classe” with high-relief decoration. Accompanied by the original fitted rosewood box with mother-of-pearl medallion, a hair chain, the original Bulletin de Marche and an Extract of the same. This watch is sold with Certificate of Authenticity and a 2-year Omega guarantee. Four-body , “demi-bassine”, solid, polished, the back cover cast with the profile of a women dressed in traditional Bernese costume and headdress and surrounded by the inscription “1910, Bern”. Hinged gold cuvette engraved “Eidgenössisches Schützenfest, Bern 1910, K. Niklaus, Monrepas”. Three part white enamel with painted Dauphine numerals, outer minute track, subsidiary seconds. Yellowgold “spade” hands. Cal. 19’’’ LOD, gilt brass, 17 jewels, straight-line lever escapement, cut-bimetallic compensation balance, blued steel Breguet balance spring, eccentric cam micrometer regulator.
