Longines Cal. 30 CH Steel Flyback ‘Medical Chronograph’ Longines, movement No. 11537953, Ref. 6552-3. Made in the 1950's. Very fine and rare, stainless steel wristwatch with square button fly-back chronograph, instantaneous 30-minute register and pulsometer. Three-body, polished and brushed, inclined bezel, concave lugs, snap-on case back. Black with applied steel faceted indexes, subsidiary dials for the seconds and the 30-minute register, outer pulsometer scale and 1/5th seconds track with 5-minute/seconds Arabic markers. Steel alpha hands. Cal. 30 CH, rhodium-plated, 18 jewels, straight-line lever escapement, monometallic balance, self compensating blued steel Breguet balance spring, shock absorber, index regulator. Dial, case and movement signed. Diam. 38 mm. Thickness 12 mm.
