Lady’s 18K Gold & Staybrite Reverso - Black Dial Jaeger-LeCoultre, "Reverso", case No. 32021, Ref. 702. Made circa 1938, the case with London import marks for 1951-1952. Fine and very rare, rectangular, reversible, 18K yellow gold and "Staybrite" stainless steel lady’s wristwatch. Three-body, polished and brushed, double straight lugs, reeded upper and lower bezel with reeding continuing to the back. Black with applied yellow gold dart and conical indexes and painted gilt 12 and 6 numerals. Yellow gold epée hands. Cal. 9’’’ U, tonneau-shaped, rhodium-plated, fausses cotes decoration, 15 jewels, straight line lever escapement, monometallic balance, self-compensating flat balance spring, index regulator. Dial signed Jaeger-LeCoultre, movement signed Jaeger-LeCoultre, case punched “Patents Appl. for”. Dim. 16 x 36 mm. Thickness 6.5 mm.
