Movado Cloisonné Enamel Dial Sic Vos Non Vobis Movado, case No. 493400, Ref. 6823. Made circa 1950. Very fine and very rare, 18K pink gold wristwatch with cloisonné enamel dial. To be sold without reserve Three-body, polished, stepped bezel, reeded band, claw lugs, snap-on case back. Cloisonne enamel on gold, the design a flaming sword on a black background and the motto “Sic Vos Non Vobis” (Thus do ye, but not for yourselves), outer gold dot minute divisions on a plain reserve. Yellow gold alpha hands. Cal. C261, rhodium plated, 17 jewels, straight line lever escapement, monometallic balance, shock absorber, selfcompensating steel Breguet balance spring, index regulator. Dial, case and movement signed. Diam. 36 mm. Thickness 10 mm.
