Fine, gilt brass, 8-day going, hour and half-hour bell striking and repeating carriage clock with alarm and duo-date calendar. Accompanied by a L’Epée box and key. Gilt brass, "Versailles", polished, glazed sides and back door, the top glazed to view the escapement, hinged carrying handle. White enamel, landscape type with radial Roman numerals, outer minute divisions, Arabic five-minute numerals, calendar dial with days of the week and concentric date numerals, alarm setting dial between. Blued steel Breguet hands. Rectangular, gilt brass, four pillars, barrel for the going and striking trains, 11 jewels, straight-line lever escapement mounted on a frosted gilt platform, monometallic balance, flat balance spring, index regulator. Dial and movement signed. Dim. 11.8 x 16.5 x 8.6 cm. excluding handle.
