Jade Phoenix E. Gübelin, Lucerne. Made circa 1920. Extremely fine, rare, large and heavy rose quartz, jade, sterling silver, onyx and enamel, 8-day going and hour and half-hour striking Art Deco "Chinoiserie" table clock. On rectangular rose quartz base, dial to the middle on upright en suite marble, to the left and right finely carved pair of phoenixes with foliage in their beaks, held by silver bases decorated with green enamel foliage. Square, large, jade, applied gilt Arabic numerals,outer minute track. Elaborate gilt hands.
