Animal motif walking stick or cane with hand carved and polychromed dog (likely bulldog) head with glass eyes and ivory mounted ears with articulated mouth that opens on spring mechanism by pulling down on fur tuft under chin to expose pink interior on a metal band (likely pewter) with stamped decoration above a tapered cylindrical wood shaft. Approximate length 36.7".
