ONE-MINUTE TOURBILLON Swiss, case No. 13598. Made circa 1880. Fine and rare, silver pocket watch with one-minute tourbillon regulator and unusual linear wheel train. Four-body, bassine et filets, polished. Hinged silver cuvette with apertures for winding and hand-setting. White enamel with radial Roman numerals, outer minute track, subsidiary seconds. Blued steel Breguet hands. 22‘‘‘, matte gilt, skeletonized circular plate securing the going barrel, center wheel and tourbillon carriage, jewelled lateral lever escapement, monometallic balance, flat balance spring, steel and brass tourbillon carriage rotating once per minute, the seconds hand driven by a wheel mounted on the lower tourbillon pivot mounted beneath a separate plate on the dial plate. DIAM. 58.5 mm.
