INGOLD SWISS QUARTER REPEATER CHRONOMETER Ingold, Swiss, case No. 555. Made circa 1900. Fine and rare, 18K gold, hunting-cased, quarter repeating, keyless, pocket watch. Accompanied by the original fitted box. Four-body, bassine, polished, hinged cover, back and cuvette, front and back ornately decorated, the front centered by a shield and the back by a bird tending to it's eggs. White enamel with painted radial Roman numerals, outer minute divisions, concentric 24-hour scale in red Arabic numerals, subsidiary sunk seconds dial. Gold Louis XV hands. Cal. 20''', nickel plated, 21 jewels, straight-line lever escapement, cut bimetallic compensation balance, blued steel Breguet balance spring, index regulator, repeating on gongs activated by a slide on the band. Notes Dial signed, case numbered, cuvette signed: Calame Robert, Chaux-de-Fonds. DIAM. 51 mm. To be sold without reserve
