MAGNO PAIR OF ENAMEL POCKET WATCH SILVER Magno, pocket watch, No. 53103, case No. 87987 and No. 51987, case No. 87988. Made circa 1920. This watch was made to celebrate to SUN YAT-SEN (12 November 1866 - 12 March 1925) who was a Chinese revolutionary, first president and founding father of the Republic of China. As the foremost pioneer of Republic of China, Sun is referred to as the "Father of the Nation" in the Republic of China (ROC), and the "forerunner of democratic revolution" in the People's Republic of China. Very fine, hunting-case, keyless, silver, enamel, pocket watch. Four-body "demi-bassine, carrure ronde", polished, case front and back engraved and blued painted, hinged silver cuvette. Enamel with painted radial roman numerals, outer minute track, subsidiary seconds dial, blued steel spade hands. 15''', rhodium-plated, 15 jewels, straight-line lever escapement, monometallic balance, self-compensating flat balance spring, index regulator. Notes Dial, case and movement signed. DIAM. 45mm.
