Cha. Horsham, London, No. 7655, circa 1750. Fine 22K gold, triple cased watch. Outer double body, gilt brass mounted, shagreen covered. Second, double body, the bezel repousse with rocaille and floral decoration, the back repouse with a mythological scene and outer rocaille decoration. Inner double body bassine, polished. White enamel with Roman numerals and outer minute ring. Later gold "arrow " hands. Hinged gilt brass full plate with turned pillars, fusee with chain, verge escapement, plain brass three-arm balance, flat balance spring, gilt brass cock pierced and engraved with foliage. Signed on the back plate. Diam. 57 mm.
