Le Merre à Paris, circa 1760. Very fine ormolu, hour and half-hour strikingLouis XV wall cartel. Gilt bronze with foliate rocaille decoration. White enamel with Roman numerals and outer Arabic minute ring. Gilt brass pierced and engraved Louis XV hands. Brass circular witth going barrels both for the going and the striking trains, anchor escapement, short pendulum with silk suspension. Striking on a bell with count wheel on the back plate.Signed on the dial.Dim. 55 x 35 cm.
