Swiss, Patented on March 31, 1868. Very fine and rare mahogany walking stick, the18K gold and enamel ruby-set pommel with built-in watch. Designed as a tiger head with ruby-set eyes and enamelled tongue and teeth, the neck engraved with foliage decoration, a sliding panel disclosing the dial and winding holes. White enamel rectangular with Roman numerals and subsidiary seconds. Blued steel “spade” hands. Brass rectangular half plate with cylindrical pillars, going barrel, cylinder escapement, plain brass three-arm balance, flat balance spring.Patent marked on the dial.Dim. 117 x 65 mm.
