The Ball Watch Co. , Cleveland., "Official RR Standard", No. 488895, by Hamilton, model 999, circa 1905.Fine, gold-filled, keyless Railroad Grade watch with Montgomery dial. three-body, "bassine" by "Philadelphia Watch Case Co.", screwed bezel with engine-turned borders, screwed engine-turned back with floral motive and engine turning, polished band. white enamel, bold Arabic numerals, inner 24 hour chapter, outer minute ring with one-minute Arabic markers in black and red, sunk subsidiary seconds. Blued steel "Pointer Spade" hands. Notes Ball watches with Montgomery dials are rare.
