H. Habriel, 34 & 35 Palais Royal, Paris, circa 1910 with tourbillon carriage by Richard Habring, circa 1980.Fine and interesting 18K gold large keyless unusual one-minute flying tourbillon regulator. Four-body, "bassine et filets", initials engraved on the back, gold hinged glazed cuvette. White enamel, radial Roman numerals, outer minute ring with five-minute Arabic figures. Notes The watch employs a very interesting form of flying tourbillon in which the carriage wheel is inserted with small ball bearings fastened with screws to the small sleeve in the plate with balance jewel. In typical flying tourbillons the carriage is assembled first and then the thick pivot is secured by a pin or other means from inside of the plate. Here, the bearing is screwed down to the plate. This ensures better stability of the pivot and better rotation because of the ball bearing. The balancwith its equidistant three-arm bridge needs to be mounted after its wheel is already in place.
