Fine and rare, self-winding, water-resistant, stainless steel gentleman's wristwatch with round button chronograph, register, day and date, tachometer, an unusual dial and a stainless steel Fortis buckle. Accompanied by a fitted box and certificate. three-body, micro-sanded, tachometer graduation on the bezel, screwed-down case back and crown, case back engraved with the "Mir"-symbol and "Limited Edition Andora Mir 97", sapphire crystal. white with multi-colored symbols of space exploration, tritium-coated indexes and black Arabic numerals, auxiliary seconds, 30 minute register and 24 hour dials, apertures for the days of the week and the date. "Bâton" tritium-coated hands. al. 5100, 17 jewels, straight line lever escapement, monometallic balance, shock-absorber, self-compensating flat balance-spring. Dial, case and movement signed. Diam. 38 mm. Notes Andora born in Berlin in 1958, is known for his colorful, funny and seemingly naive creations. His paintings in oil and acryl, his collages, objects and videos have earned him international recognition. His art is featured in European and American collections. Designing postcards for MTV, a racecar for Mercedes-Benz and pens for Montblanc, in 1990 he painted a Russian "Proton" rocket to transport his work into space. Together with artist "Della" he is also know under the name "Studio 4"
