Rolex "Anti-Magnetic", Ref. 3055. Produced in the 1950's. Fine and rare 18K yellow gold mid-sized wristwatch, with square-shaped button chronograph, regis-ters, tachometer and a gold-plated Rolex buckle. three-body, polished, stepped bezel, concave lugs. black with applied lozenge-shaped and dart indexes, auxiliary seconds and 30-minute register dials, outer tachometer graduation. "Alpha" gold hands. Notes Ref. 3055 Produced in 20 examples in pink gold and 200 examples in yellow gold in the 1930's, it was considered at the time to be the smallest chronograph in the world. Reference 3055 was initially produced with olive-shaped pushers and was then re-edited in the 1950's with an updated dial and square pushers. Very few examples were made in stainless steel.
