Brass bowl with glazed bezel secured by two screws, gimbaled in two-body mahogany box with glazed round window in the top under sliding lid, brass handles, corner plate for a key with original fluted-handle brass key, key lock in front, gimbals ring locked by single arm protruding through the ring and boss on the bowl.
