Timekeeper with 1 ComplicationL. Fernier et Frères, Besançon, circa 1880.Very fine 18K gold, half hunting-cased, keyless minute-repeating watch. Four-body, "bassine", polished, front cover with champlevé radial Roman chapter and inner minute ring around the aperture, gold hinged cuvette over gold bezel glazed for viewing the movement. White enamel, radial Roman numerals, outer minute divisions with five-minute Arabic markers, subsidiary sunk seconds. Gold double "spade" hands.
