Universal Genève "Aéro-Compax". Produced in the 1940's.Fine stainless steel gentleman's wristwatch with square button chronograph, registers, tachometer, memento dial and two crowns. three-body, polished and brushed, triangular lugs. The winding-crown on the 9 is for adjusting the hands of the memento dial. matte silver with radium-coated Arabic numerals, auxiliary dials for the seconds, the 12 hours and 30 minutes registers and the memento in 12 hours, outer tachometer graduation. "Lozenge" radium-coated hands. Notes The Aéro-Compax was created and patented on November 6, 1940. It was especially designed for airline pilots, with an extra dial for recording times. The hands of the extra dial are totally independent of the central ones, and can be separately adjusted thanks to an additional crown on the 9.
