De Cleves, Paris, circa 1700. Gilt metal center-wound single-hand "oignon" watch. Two-body, "oignon", back chiseled and engraved with inhabited foliage. Gilt metal with white enamel cartouches for the Roman numeral hour chapters, similar small outer cartouches for five-minute Arabic markers, inner enamel quarter-hour ring, center engraved with exotic birds among foliage. Gilt brass "fleur de lis" hand. 46,2 mm, hinged, gilt full plate with Egyptian pillars, fusee and chain, verge escapement with steel balance and short balance-spring, Louis XIV cock pierced and engraved with inhabited foliage, Tompion type regulator without a pointer.Signed on the movement.Diam. 57 mm.
