Ivory, pinted on violet background, off-white, delicate Arabic numerals. Blued steel Breguet hands. Notes acloche Frères.Established in Madrid in 1875, they opened a branch in Paris in 1898. They were manufacturers and retailers of high fashion jewelry encrusted with precious gems. Lacloche frères was one of the major Parisian jewelers of the period; the others were Cartier, Boucheron, Mauboussin, Fouquet, Chaumet and Van Cleef & Arpels.Fernand Paillet (Niort 1840 - Paris 1918),A pupil of Carrier-Belleuse, he painted portraits on enamel and porcelain, as well as water colors.
