Lacloche Frères, 15 Rue de La Paix, Paris, 2 New Bond St. , London, movement by Vacheron Constantin No. 300273, case design by Verger, No. 4526, carved glass by Lalique, miniatures painted by Paillet, circa 1908.Exceptionally fine and rare amethyst, carved glass, platinum and gold, diamond- and pearl-set, painted on ivory lady's pendant watch in original Lacloche Morocco fitted box. longated octagonal leaded carved glass with repeated motif, hollow octagonal-shaped inside fitted with diamond-set platinum bezels fixed to yellow gold frame, both with painted ivory plaques with violet background, the back with a muse and two putti, the front with two putti and hour chapter, faceted amethyst covers, two pearl finials, one constituting winding/setting knob, diamond-set platinum ring for a chain, diamond-set platinum plaques running from the bezels to the finials. Ivory, pinted on violet background, off-white, delicate Arabic numerals. Blued steel Breguet hands. Notes acloche Frères.Established in Madrid in 1875, they opened a branch in Paris in 1898. They were manufacturers and retailers of high fashion jewelry encrusted with precious gems. Lacloche frères was one of the major Parisian jewelers of the period; the others were Cartier, Boucheron, Mauboussin, Fouquet, Chaumet and Van Cleef & Arpels.Fernand Paillet (Niort 1840 - Paris 1918),A pupil of Carrier-Belleuse, he painted portraits on enamel and porcelain, as well as water colors. He exhibited at the Paris Salon in 1873,
