Accompanied by a certificate. four-body, solid, polished, straight lugs, hinged and engraved case back over transparent back to view the movement. matte silver with painted Arabic numerals, aperture for the oversized date at 12, auxiliary guilloché seconds dial. " Alpha " blued steel hands. Cal. Venus 216, copper-colored, 17 jewels, straight line lever escapement, monometallic balance, shock absorber, self-compensating flat balance spring.Dial, case and movement signed, movement also signed " Cornavin Watch ".Diam. 36 mm. Notes The Venus caliber in this watch was the first digital and oversized date movement produced in the 1940's. It was only produced in small series because of its complexity
