The Muses and Jupiter. Geneva, goldsmith's mark "GGR", circa 1820. Very fine gold and enamel rectangular snuff box with canted corners, in fitted leather box. Notes Provenance: S. Bulgari, Rome. Bulgari, with his keen eye and superb taste, created collections of some of the best jewelry, watches and objects of vertu in Italy.Pieces from his collection very rarely appear on the market. This, with its original Bulgari label and in a box signed Bulgari, is one of them.The workmanship in certain details is reminiscent of Jean-Georges Rémond.
