Raingo Frères, Paris, musical movement by A. Reuge & Cie, circa 1880, retailed by I. Tritschler & Co. Very fine and rare eight day going hour and half hour striking musical clock painting with two tunes, with echo activated at 12 o'clock, music playing every hour or on demand. Gilt wood framed oil on canvas, featuring a landscape, a building with a clock tower in the foreground and a boat on a river, base with a lever for tune switching, and another for activating music at will.
