"J. T.C." No. 12508, Swiss, circa 1910. Very fine silver and enamel, minute repeating eight day going carriage clock with alarm, in original fitted box. Rectangular, front, top and side panels enamelled with very fine painted landscapes over engineturning, black marble base with applied bronze decoration, the repeating push piece at the top, set with a moon-stone cabochon. Matted silver with Arabic numerals. Rose-cut diamond-set hands. M. Gilt brass rectangular with turned baluster pillars, going barrels both on the going and the repeating trains, gilt brass platform with straight line lever escapement, cut bimetallic balance, Breguet balance spring. Repeating and alarm on gongs, the repeating train released by a button on the top, small white enamel alarm setting dial on the back plate. Trade mark on the back panel. In very good condition. Dim. 12,8 x 9 x 6,5 cm.
