C. H. Meylan, Brassus, Swiss, No. 5375, circa 1890. Fine 18K gold, keyless minute repeating watch with split seconds chronograph. Four body, massive, "bassine " , polished. Hinged gold cuvette. White enamel with Breguet numerals, red outer Arabic minute and chronograph rings, sunk centre and subsidiary seconds. Blued steel "spade" hands. Notes The movement of this watch was made with a calibre especially made by C.H. Meylan for his chronograph with unusual column wheel, patented in 1880.
