L. Tavernier a Paris, No. 1600, circa 1810. Very fine 18K gold quarter repeating watch with special escapement. Three body, Empire, engine-turned with reeded band, the back with an azure champleve enamelled initial "L" within a cartouche en reserve. Hinged gilt brass cuvette. White enamel by Lucard No. 1600 (signed on the enamel backing) with Breguet numerals. Blued steel hands.
