John Williamson in Leeds, circa 1690. Fine silver watch with single hand and alarm. Double body, bassine with split bezel and loose ring pendant, the back pierced and engraved with inhabited foliage. Silver champleve with Roman numerals and inner alarm setting disc. Blued steel single hand and pointer. Hinged gilt brass full plate with tulip pillars, fusee with chain, verge escapement, plain steel three-arm balance, flat balance spring and English gilt brass cock pierced and engraved with foliage. Alarm on a bell with gilt brass fixed barrel, pierced and engraved with scrolling foliage. Signed on the back plate. In very good condition. Diam. 50 mm.
