Bassot, 30 Palais Royal a Paris, No. 1048, circa 1840. Rare 18K gold, very slim quarter repeating miniature watch. Four body, "forme quatre baguettes", engineturned. Hinged gold cuvette. White enamel with Roman numerals. Gold Breguet hands. Notes This is certainly one of the smallest and thinnest quarte r repeating watches produced at that time and among the smallest ever made until now.
