Mermod Freres, Sainte Croix, Swiss, circa 1895. Fine 18K gold, keyless minute repeating watch with chronograph. Four body, massive, "bassine", polished, the back applied with a gold monogram and decorated inside with the photographic portrait of a lady. Hinged gold cuvette with the photographic portraits of the three children. White enamel with Arabic numerals, outer red Arabic minute and chronograph rings and sunk subsidiary seconds (hair line). Gold "spade" hands.
