Fine and unusual, silver gentleman 's wristwatch with passing automata (Arnold Schweitzer-Schatzmann, Chaux-de-Fonds, Swiss Patents No. 24340 from 23 December 1901 and No. 24792 from 22 July 1902). massive, polished, wire lugs. satined gold with painted Breguet numerals, at the centre, white dial with red Arabic numerals for the 24 hours, on the 6, aperture for the passing pictures of the four signatories of the Armistice on 28 June, 1919. Notes On 18 January 1919 started the "Conference de la Pais" in Paris. 70 delegates from 27 nations attented this conference which lead to the "Traite de Versailles" between the Allied Powers and Germany, signed by the "Quatre Grands" on 28 June of the same l year. The lour signatories of this Treaty were Georges Clemenceau, so-called "Le Tigre", President du Conseil in France, Thomas Woodrow Wilson, President of the United States olAmerica, George Lloyd, War Minister of Great Britain and Vittorio Finanuele Orlando, Presidente del Consiglio in Italy. Germany was represented by the Americans Hermann Muller and Daniel Bell. On the watch dial, the passing pictures are those of the "Quatre Grands".
