Framed Photograph of a Painting by John Greenwood of Boston Merchant John Langdon, photograph taken and colored by Milton M. Bergman, Chicago, late 20th century, 20 x 15 1/2 in. Note: John Langdon (1722-1782) came from a well-known Boston family. He married Mary Greenough March 31, 1778, and a genealogy states they had nine children. It is reported there was a Langdon tomb in the Copp's Hill Burying Ground, where both John and Mary are thought to be buried.
