A mahogany, mahogany veneered, and inlaid davenport comprising a slant top with brown leather writing surface and upper storage compartment with inlaid stringing, slant top lid opening to storage compartment with five small drawers, case sides having four burled mahogany veneered drawers with round wooden knobs, case front under the writing surface comprising mahogany with inlaid stringing flanked by fretwork side brackets over two block turned turned side columns surmounting acanthus carved corbels, case overall resting on for turned ring feet. Approximate height 32", width 21", depth 21.5".
