Three Portrait Miniatures and a Related Photograph and Tintype, two watercolor on ivory portrait miniatures by society portrait painter Gerald Sinclair Hayward (New York, England, 1845-1926), both signed and dated l. r., depicting Manhattan banker Joseph Bird (1838-1917) dated "1912," 3 1/8 x 2 3/8, in a carved giltwood frame, and Joseph's wife Veronica (nee Ackerman), dated "1902," 3 1/4 x 2 1/2, unframed, with a photograph of Joseph from which the portrait was probably taken; an enamel on porcelain portrait miniature of a man identified as "William Bird," 2 x 1 5/8 in., and a ninth-plate tintype portrait of the same.
