George Steevens owned nearly fifty Shakespeare quarto plays, including twelve first editions. Together with: Bibliotheca Bridgesiana, or a Catalogue of the Entire Library of John Bridges , London, 1725, lacking the title-page and the plate; bound in half modern morocco and marbled paper boards, untrimmed copy, ruled and priced by hand throughout, 8 3/4 x 5 1/2 in.
