Second edition, octavo, eight pages of text, thirty double-page plates of constellations, and a forty page catalog of stars; clean throughout, in contemporary sponged calfskin, corners bumped, head and tail worn. Flamsteed's Atlas builds on Bayer's Uranometria , laying out the constellations using equatorial and ecliptic coordinates.
