Daniel & Nathaniel Munroe Mahogany Tall Clock, Concord, Massachusetts, c. 1805, the case with pierced fret, brass stop-fluted freestanding columns flanking the arched and glazed hood door over painted iron dial with Roman numerals, floral spandrels, and arch, rectangular waist door with line and banded inlay and brass stop-fluted quarter-columns, the base with similar inlay and bracket feet, inside the waist door is the original printed label stating in part, Warranted/Clocks and Time-Pieces/Made by Daniel and Nathaniel Munroe,/At Their/Manufactory,/Concord, (Mass.) , eight-day time and bell strike movement with original pendulum, tin-cased weights and key, ht. 92 1/2 in.
