Watercolor on paper, sheet size 12 5/16 x 8 15/16 in. (31.2 x 22.8 cm), framed. Condition: Sheet laid down on paperboard, stain u.l., small abrasion l.l., toning, scattered foxing, bowing to the support. N.B. The Association Félix Ziem, represented by M. Mathias Ary Jan and David Pluskwa, has confirmed the authenticity of this work. It will be reproduced in the forthcoming catalogue raisonné. The watercolor is laid down on a heavy paperboard support, which is 3/16 in. thick and measures 23 1/2 x 18 1/2 in. overall. There is toning to the watercolor and the support. Scattered pinpoint foxing in the watercolor, and foxing to the support. Small stain in u.l. corner of watercolor measures 3/16 in. (0.4 cm). Small abrasion or tear measuring 1/8 in. (0.3 cm) l.l. corner, just beneath the signature. Minor bowing to the support. The label from Beugniet, Paris, is affixed to the back of the support.
