David H. Ligare (American, b. 1945) Untitled, from the Thrown Drapery Series Signed and dated "D. Ligare 1977-78" on the reverse. Oil on canvas, 61 x 78 in. (154.9 x 198.1 cm), unframed. Condition: Minor surface imperfections. Provenance: Purchased from Andrew Crispo Gallery, January 19, 1978; present owner by family descent. Approximately three minor canvas protrusions to the surface, abrasion to the u.r. quadrant measuring approx. 8 in. length, surface dust/grime to picture plane and tacking margins, three fine surface abrasions to l.l. quadrant left of the canvas deformation.
