French, 19th century. Ornate gilt bronze table clock with later rectangular green onyx mount at top with red eyed owl perched on triangular accent. White porcelain clock face dial with black and blue Roman and Arabic numbers contained behind hinged glazed door. Clock with female facial mounts on sides with braided hair, medallions, gadrooned edging, scale texturing, scrolling, foliates, lion's paw feet, shells and other highly decorative components. Back of movement stamped "J. Marti, Medaille De Bronze". Approximate height 22", width 19.25", depth 9.25".
