Small Victorian Rosewood and Parquetry Inlay Lap Desk, late 19th century, rectangular, with Tunbridge-type geometric inlay to lid and sides, opening to velvet writing surface with storage wells and a colorless glass inkwell, ht. 5, wd. 10 1/4, dp. 8 1/2 in. inkwell lacking lid. finish wear. some fading to inlay. small chip to upper right corner of lid, and chip to left side of lid (approx. 2 x 1/8"). age typical light wear to interior, and overall.
