Two German Humpen -form Tin Glazed Pottery Tankards, one with flat pewter lid monogrammed "G. L. H." and dated 1772, filet-ball thumbpiece, rim, and foot, and polychrome enamel decorated with turquoise reserves set with flower sprays, separated by columns and with manganese borders, and strap handle, ht. 8 1/2 in.; the other with stepped pewter lid, filet-ball thumbpiece, and foot, body with blue ground with diagonal stripes over diaper pattern, and strap handle, ht. 8 3/4 in.
