James Snelling Eight-day Long Case Clock, London, c. 1750, with brass composite dial with Roman numeral chapter ring, matted center, applied brass spandrels, and maker's boss in the arch, eight-day time and strike weight-powered movement with weights and pendulum, oak case with later Japanned decoration, approx. ht. 93 in. Later Japanned case with nicks, chips, and scratches, particularly along edges.
