Dated Staffordshire Handpainted Pitcher, England, mid 19th century, polychrome enamel painted to either side, a greeting of Mason's to one side, farm implements to the reverse, gilt trim and inscription below the spout "T. Wright P.C.G. 1847", ht. 7 in. Allover heavily stained; no cracks, chips or restorations.
