Two American Sterling Mugs, comprising a Gorham example, date marked 1871, tapered conical, on spreading foot, applied with cut-card work band of flowering vines, the handle topped by two small classical figures, and ending in ivy leaves, ht. 4 5/8, and a Wm. B. Kerr child's mug, c. 1900, round, with vertical panels acid etched with scenes from nursery rhymes, monogrammed, ht. 2 3/8 in., approx. 10 troy oz. Gorham mug with extensive engraving/inscription removal from front of body, with associated slight roughness to surface of silver. Kerr mug with light denting at upper and lower rims.
