Two Staffordshire Pottery Figural Spill Vases, England, 19th century, each polychrome enamel decorated, one depicting a rescue dog pulling a baby from a river, ht. 7 7/8 in.; the other an unidentified country couple, ht. 7 3/4 in. Dog: slight firing line to the side (mold line) of the base. Couple: some flaking to the enamels on the earthy base.
