Louis XV/XVI Fruitwood Marquetry-inlaid Tulipwood Poudreuse, early 20th century, of typical form, top with three hinged panels revealing a mirror and two wells, above a slide, two working drawers and three sham drawers, on angular cabriole legs, inlaid with foliage, ribband and checker-banding, ht. 30, wd. 32 1/4, dp. 19 in. Top with some fill-in repairs and veneer patching with shrinkage cracks throughout; lower body very good with only minor, age typical defects.
