Two Tin Toys: Lehmann Crawling Beetle and a Guntherman Frog, Germany, late 19th/early 20th century, Lehmann clockwork "The Crawling Beetle," lithographed tin with moving legs and wings, in the original box with printed paper label on the lid, together with a polychrome painted tin sommersaulting frog figure, (minor paint losses), ht. 2 1/4, 5 1/4 in. beetle-working condition, very minor paint wear on legs and body under wings, box with small corner tear on cover, missing staple on one corner, so it slumps a little; frog - working, paint losses on bow tie and jacket.
